They bought a home in Emerald just over 6yrs ago for $500,ooo & borrowed $250,ooo.  On the advice of a broker, they locked a rate of 8.06% in for 10yrs making repayments $1842 p/m over 30yrs.  After talking with Steve, they refinanced their home loan over 25yrs & reduced their repayment from $1842 p/m to $1266 p/m.
