Steve Taylor & Partners are property developers and consultants. I would like to clarify my role as a property developer. This causes some confusion for my website visitors and potential clients.
They say, “If I buy a residential property in Brisbane, Steve says he is cutting out all middle men and saving on Stamp Duty because I will be buying direct from the developer.”
This statement is actually correct.
The question that reveals the confusion is: “Is Steve the developer that I would be buying the land from?”
My clients are now investing at about 8 kilometres north of North Lakes in a new estate named North Harbour. The advantage of North Harbour over North Lakes is supply and demand. As North Lakes has been a huge success and is almost completed, demand now exceeds supply which pushes prices up. At North Harbour the Estate only opened November 2015 so supply is plentiful even though demand is already huge.
And if you are interested in the figures …
At North Lakes you will now pay approximately $300k for a block of Land that you can buy at North Harbour for about $220k.
So to clarify, I am not the developer of North Lakes or North Harbour; I am the consultant.

However …
for the last 4 years I have been working on a development at Kuranda near Cairns where we have just been awarded certification from the Urban Development Institute of Australia for our approach to environmental sustainability and are the 101st developer in Australia to achieve such an award and the first in the Cairns Region. However after having obtained all development & environmental approvals for the 83 lot Rural Residential project, Steve Taylor & Partners has decided to sell the Development by tender, as Steve’s life has taken a new direction. The sale will be conducted by Ray White Cairns Beaches & Tenders will close June 20th 2017.
